Growing Together in Faith

MUMC's Family Ministry  establishes programs for our
children and families.  

Sunday School will be held every Sunday 9:40 - 10:20, between services, for children age 5 and up in the Sunday School room starting on September 20, 2026. The exception will be Sundays with a combined service that starts at 9:30.

Check the bulletin boards in the narthex for current curriculum information. There will be scripture-based lessons, music, crafts, stories and fun every week!  Children are invited to come to Sunday School whenever they are in church. 

All are welcome!

The Family Worship Room is available both services for children 2-5 and for those who have trouble sitting through the service. Infants and toddlers are welcome in the FWR with their adult. Older children are encouraged to stay in church until after the Children's Moment, and then either continue to stay in church or go to the FWR where they will find toys, games,  activities and supervision.  

In the Sanctuary, we have a special Children's Worship Rug where there are pencils, crayons,  puzzles, games and a bucket of fidget toys for quiet play during the service.

As you enter the church, look for our "KID'S STOP" POLE with clipboards and children's bulletins for children to take and use during the service.

There will also be a Children's Moment in both services every Sunday except Communion  Sunday, which is the first Sunday of the month.

We are excited about our children's ministry and look forward to seeing what God has in store  for us as we continue to love and care for all children at MUMC!
