Youth Mission Trip Fundraiser
The youth mission team is holding a Soup Fundraiser on October 21st. The will be selling Corn Chower and Chili between services here in the Nartex. Get a container of one of there great comfort foods and support our youth team.
Capital Campaign Celebration
Please join us as we celebrate the fruits from the Capital Campaign "Shaping a Vibrant Future"! On Sunday November 11th there will be one combined service at 10:30 am followed by a pot luck lunch in the Narthex. Sign-up sheets will be available in the Narthex. Cyndi Geiger and Carol Rowlette of the Celebration Team are working hard to make this a joyful event as we celebrate a successful Campaign and thank God for how he has blessed our Church. All are welcome- come join us to Celebrate!
MUMC Sunday Afternoon Music
Back by popular demand, MUMC Sunday Afternoon Music (formerly known as the Wanakee Concert Series) will return to North River Road on Sunday, October 21st at 2 PM. Join us for an hour of great music and fellowship as we host our first guest the Temple Dance Band. The Temple Dance Band is an 18 piece big band playing music of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. You will recognize several of our own church members playing with the band and of course the featured vocalist, Emeline Tyler-Wall. Invite your friends and come and enjoy the music. Refreshments will be provided. A voluntary offering is taken in the later part of the concert to help support our ministries. Future Sunday Afternoon Music Concerts are being planned for one Sunday a month!
In October we are collecting Canned fruit, flour, sugar, boxed mixes, baking spices, coffee and tea, juice, granola and fruit. Please be sure your donations are in date and leave them in the baskets under the coat rack. Thank you for all you do!
Every 6 weeks or so Milford UMC helps host the free supper at the Share center on Columbus Ave. in Milford. There are sign up sheets with information on tasks in the narthex. If you have questions, contact the office or firstname.lastname@example.org

Pot Luck Dinner Wednesday's, 6 PM
We will enjoy fellowship and conversation. We are doing a study on the book "The Anatomy of Peace" from the Arbinger Press. Reading the book is not necessary but should you chose to buy it, Amazon has it available for $9.99 and there is a review of it on the UMC.org website. Bring something to share and maybe a friend. Second Sunday Noise Offering
Following each service on the second Sunday of the month we will have a “Noise Offering.” This donation of your spare change will benefit the Wanakee Scholarship Fund that helps youth participate in our United Methodist summer camp located in Meredith, NH. If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to MUMC with the note “Wanakee Scholarships” in the memo space.
Christian Aftercare Ministries
Ministering to released prisoners, needs your used items like microwaves, TV’s, refrigerators (small or medium), coffee makers, men's winter clothes, sneakers, (athletic shoes), boots, gloves, kitchen items, gift cards, towels, bedding, tableware, etc. See Bulletin bds for new info.
The White Tops
The White Tops is a MUMC social group for retired men from any denomination. You are invited to join us every Wed. from 8 until 10 a.m. for coffee, doughnuts and good conversation. If you have any questions, speak to Everett Gale.
The Lamplighter's Bible Study
